Looking forward in making our N-scale Northern Pacific heavyweight bagggage-express car in proper shade of paint. NPRHA paint chips made available for modelers and manufacturers are the way to go . . . wish more railroad historical societies will do likewise.

Monday, March 31, 2014 at 09:28PM I thought i post this interested photo of Erie Lackawanna's Croxton New Jersey yard taken in 1976 by Bob Malinoski - from Paul Brezicki. It shows Erie Lackawanna SDP45 leading a trainload of New York City subway cars. A PC-90 Piggy-Packer bottom lifting a 40-ft container and a P-70 Piggy-Packer getting into position. Behind the EL train looks like a Santa Fe 100-ton RBL box car. Interesting stuff. Thanks Paul for sharing!;)
