Skybox on SP F-70-12 . . .
Monday, November 3, 2014 at 04:17PM During our research phase of our Wheels of Time N-scale F-70-10/12/26 flat car project, I ran across a photo of a Southern Pacific F-70-12 flat car with a Skybox. The skybox protects airplane parts from damage during transit. I don't know if this was assigned to McDonnell Douglas, Boeing or Lockheed airplanes. I am giving a shout out if you know more about this skybox on F-70-12 flat car(s). Was it a one-off prototype?;)
